Eligiblity : - After finishing 10+2(Any Stream)

Duration : One Year divided into two semesters.

This course is suitable for any 10+2/Inter passed students who wishes to get himself introduced in the field of Computer Applications to support the normal discipline or to start his career as Computer Operator, Instructor or as Programming Assistant.One can pursue this course right after finishing the HSC examination to start a career in IT. Diploma in Computer Application imparts basic computer science knowledge and computer applications. This course provides in-depth knowledge of software engineering, basics of internet, E-business, basics of ERP, MS office, assembly of personal computer, ethical hacking, computer applications, IT security and database system. This is the basic course to give a fair idea of computer science and its various applications used in all kinds of industries.

LATERAL ENTRY FOR PGDCA

Those candidates who clear the DCA Examination and all  graduates are permitted to directly appear in the university's PGDCA Exam. They will not be required to take admission or complete the term work. Only examination fee will have to be paid by them.

Scheme of Study for D.C.A Course:

• For passing the examination, minimum 40% marks must be scored in each passing head individually.
• For passing the over all aggregate of marks must be at least 45% in theory and practical separately.
• For the purpose of award of merit or division, only the marks obtained in theory heads of all semester and together shall be considered
