Chhotanagpur Institute of Information Technology & Management (CIITM) Constituted under the Maharishi Hariram sharan Shastri Educational & Social Trust on 25th August 1999 under Trust Act of India. The Institute is affiliated to Makhanlal Chaturevedi Rastriya Patrakarita Evam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal from October 1999 having study centre code - MCUCR/BCA/9141 for IT Courses & NUJ/99/2042 for Media Courses .
The MAHANT OF HANUMAT SADAN' Ayodhya is the Ex-officio of trust. The executive council of trust is the apex body within the chairman. The executive council has all corner representation, having members from the group of the guardians of students, social workers, senior citizen as spiritually attached persons and disciple of Sri Guruji. The academic affairs are governed by the Academic Council which has enlivened academicians and professionals as members. The director is the chief executive of the Institute.Apart from computer course the institute runs Journalism & mass communications, library and automation Science in the name of Maharishi Hariramsaran Shastri School of Journalism & Mass Communication through the affiliation of MCRPV, Bhopal.
The Institute has 5000 sq. hired building in the heart of the town. The main campus of the Institute is coming up on about 10 acres of land at Dhanbad.The Institute has three organizations under the guidance of trust. Maharishi Hariramsaran shastri school of Journalism and mass communication, Maharishi Coaching Class for IAS Study circle and 10+2 study circle from 16th September 2004. Apart from this Hanumant Software Pvt. Ltd. is under process with have registration to help Software & Hardware professionals and Aanjaney Computer for Assambiling and Hardware Complete Solutions Not only that the, Vichar Manthan(Hindi) Monthly House Journal is on going process to produce eminent journalist for Jharkhand State. The trust has also planned to establish a 10+2 based School with the concept of Indian Mythological Education System.The Institute aims to provide a high quality education relevant to the society and suitable for professional needs and on intellectually challenging and culturally enching environment of learning.
